Our Extended Family

Occasionally, we need to find new homes for retired, ex-breeding cats.

As heartbreaking as it is for us, we do it for their own wellbeing, to ensure they get all the attention they deserve without having to share with the bigger group.

They are still a part of our family however, and deserve a mention here!

Champion

Ch EsteLuna Blue Mirage

Blue Tortie British Longhair, GCCF & TICA registered

aka Satu (meaning Fairytale in Finnish)

Satu is the firstborn daughter of Champion Valdosta Baluga and our Grand Champion Anya. She’s a very sweet girlie, still very young, but showing a lot of promise and we can’t wait to see how she does at her first cat show.

Personality-wise, she’s a bit more like her dad, and it’s amazing to have her sister here to see how similar but different they are. She is a little purring machine though, and gives the best cuddles.

Blue Tortie / Blue-Cream British Longhair

Champion

Ch Valdosta Rainfall of EsteLuna

Blue Tortie British Longhair, GCCF & TICA registered

aka Flo, Florence or Flossy Floss

Flo is Winnie’s sister, and when she became available, it really wasn’t difficult to decide whether she should join our family too. She’s one chonk of a cat and gave us some fabulous kittens, including Rosie and Lily.

She’s now living a pampered life as an only cat, and is an official member of her mum’s book club!

Grand Champion

GrCh Zamanix Creed (now Conker)

Cream & White British Longhair, GCCF & TICA registered, neutered

aka Creed or Creedo, now named Conker by his new family

Creed is a young boy who joined us in November 2023. He became a GCCF Champion at 11 months old, with some very complimentary reports from the judges, including well-known breed specialists. His personality is amazing – he’s very social, there’s not a nasty bone in his body, just a definition of “lovely”.

His new home offers him a lot more attention than what I’d be able to give him, as well as company from a fellow feline, a lovely girl called Bear. I think they’re both smitten!

Regional Winner, Champion & Grand Champion

GrCh Whiskyeyes Anya Dolce Bambina

Lilac Tortie & White British Longhair, TICA registered, neutered

aka Little Cloud or Ania, Anusia, Anutka

Anya was born in November 2021 and I couldn’t take my eyes off her the moment I saw her! She is extremely confident and nothing will phase her – she jumped out of the carrier the moment she arrived, as if the place belonged to her already.

She has a lovely personality and is able to make friends with any cat or human. She’s also very outgoing and that trait is perfect for cat shows, where she enjoys all the attention. She achieved the title of Grand Champion in just one day at TICA’s Regional 2022 show, and we couldn’t be more proud.

She gave us a wonderful litter of British Longhair kittens in summer 2023, sired by Champion Valdosta Baluga. We kept two daughters who will continue her line and with that, decided that Anya should reunite with her sister Irma and enjoy the life of a much-spoilt pet.

Irma

Blue Tortie British Shorthair, TICA registered, neutered

aka Baby-Irma or Irmisia or Misia

Irma is a week older than Anya and they arrived here together. We had some great plans for her, but sometimes, even the best of plans don’t work out. Irma is now living with my parents as a much loved pet, and is spoilt rotten!

She is the sweetest girl – maybe not as outgoing as Anya, but once she gets to know you, she won’t leave your lap. She’s an avid insect hunter, no fly will get by without catching her attention, and she’s a surprisingly agile little girl!

2x CC (Challenge Certificate)

Sky

Lilac British Shorthair, GCCF registered, neutered

aka Sky’s the Limit

Sky gave us two lovely litters of British Shorthair bears, all of who ended up with absolutely wonderful personalities.

She herself is very affectionate, loves to sleep in bed and give cuddles in the morning. She’s now a very spoilt pet, living with hew two humans as the only cat and loving all the attention.

Honey (was Lira)

Red/White British Longhair, TICA registered, neutered

aka Little Fox

Honey joined us at 1.5 years old, but unfortunately, she just couldn’t get along with other cats, so after 6 months of trying, we decided that it was the best for her to be spayed and find a new family.

Boy, didn’t she get lucky! It was love at first sight, she absolutely adores her humans. As hard as it was for us, it was a right choice for Honey.
