Our Values

Kittens we raise go on to become YOUR family members. We are aware that this is a huge responsibility, and we are not taking it lightly.

Being ethical and responsible about our cats, kittens and breeding programme is not just a nice-sounding phrase, it’s our whole raison d’être.

We stand for:

  • Breeding quality kittens, focusing on their long-term health, looks and temperament
  • Aiming to go above and beyond of what is required by registration bodies
  • Having our cats assessed by experienced judges, so we know where to improve
  • Never compromising on our cats’ wellbeing
  • Always striving to meet their behavioural needs with species-appropriate enrichment
  • Continuously learning about the breed and cats more generally
  • Being transparent and honest with our kitten owners
  • Offering them support, no matter what. Cats aren’t stuffed toys so we can’t guarantee that they’ll never get sick, but we’ll be there for you to support you when needed
  • Never cutting corners

We stand against:

  • Breeding for financial profit and with no purpose
  • Breeders who don’t register their kittens and let them leave without vaccinations and basic health checks
  • Breeders who make false claims, just to secure a sale more quickly
  • Breeders who have no basic knowledge on cat behaviour, health and genetics
  • Breeders who don’t support their kitten owners, or block them the moment they voice any concerns
  • Breeders who overbreed their Queens and force them to have one litter after another, with no regard for their health and wellbeing
  • Breeders who keep their cats in poor conditions and don’t strive to meet their emotional, nutritional and medical needs

*I realise that the use of word “breeder” in the section above is very liberal!
